Privacy Policy

Offln Scrl (Package Name: com.cytificlabs.offlnscrl) is developed by Cytific
Labs. This policy explains what the app does with your data and, just as importantly,
what it does not.
1. Your photos and videos never leave your device
Offln Scrl is an offline media player. It reads the photos and videos already on your device, displays
them, and plays them back. Your media is never uploaded, copied, mirrored, transmitted or
stored anywhere outside your device, by us or by anyone else. There is no server that
holds your files, because there is no server that ever receives them.
We do not require an account, an email address, a username or any other personal identifier, and we do
not build a profile of what you watch.
2. What the app reads on your device, and why
- Photos and videos — to find and play the media already on your device. This
is the app's entire purpose; it cannot work without it.
- Folder access you choose — only for folders you pick yourself. We keep that
permission so the folder still works next time you open the app, and you can revoke it at any
time.
- Vibration — haptic feedback on controls.
- Network access — only for the services in section 3. Never for your
media.
Nothing about a file — not its name, its contents, its location, nor the fact that you played it
— is sent anywhere.
3. The data that does leave your device
The app uses a small number of third-party services. This is the complete list.
- Crash and error reporting — Firebase Crashlytics (Google). When the app
crashes or freezes, a diagnostic report is sent so the fault can be fixed: the error, a stack
trace, the device model, the operating-system version and an app-generated installation
identifier. It contains no media, no file names and nothing about what you were watching.
You can turn this off in Settings → Privacy & Data, and if you do,
nothing is sent.
- Advertising — Google AdMob. The free version shows ads, and Google may use
your device's advertising identifier to select them. Ads are not shown, and this identifier is not
used, if you have purchased the ad-free version. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in
your device's Android settings at any time.
- Advertising consent — Google User Messaging Platform. In the EEA, the UK and
Switzerland you are asked for consent before personalised ads are used. In US states with
applicable privacy laws the same choices are available at any time from Settings → Privacy
& Data, which is also where you can change or withdraw a previous choice.
- Purchases — RevenueCat and Google Play Billing. If you buy Offln Scrl Pro,
the purchase is made through Google Play. RevenueCat processes the receipt so the app knows your
purchase is valid, and receives an anonymous app-generated identifier with it. We never
see and never receive your payment details — those stay between you and Google
Play.
- Configuration — Firebase Remote Config. The app fetches a small settings
file so values such as trial length can be adjusted without an update. It sends nothing about you
or your media.
- Ratings — Google Play In-App Review. Only if you choose to leave a rating,
and handled entirely by Google Play.
We do not use Google Analytics for Firebase or any other event-analytics service.
4. Children
Offln Scrl is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information
from them.
5. Your settings, and deleting your data
Your settings, your liked items and your purchase status are stored on your device only,
and are excluded from Android's automatic cloud backup. There is no account and no profile of you on
any server, so there is nothing for us to delete.
Uninstalling the app removes all of its local data, and you can clear it without uninstalling from
Android's app settings. Crash reporting can be switched off at any time in Settings → Privacy
& Data, and advertising consent changed in the same place.
6. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it, and material changes will be noted in
the app's release notes.

1. Acceptable Use
Offln Scrl is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You are responsible for ensuring you have the
legal right to view and play the photos and videos you open with the app.
2. Disclaimer
The application is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Cytific Labs is not responsible for
any damage to your device or data loss resulting from the use of this software.
3. Intellectual Property
The "Offln Scrl" brand, icon, and source code are the property of Cytific Labs. Unauthorized
redistribution or modification is prohibited.
